Abstract

Penyakit paru obstruktif kronik (PPOK) merupakan suatu kondi si paru heterogen yang ditandai dengan gangguan pernafasan kronis akibat kelainan saluran nafas yang menyebabkan obstruksi aliran udara yang persisten dan seringakli progresif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbandingan pemberian nebulizer dengan konsumsi air hangat dan air rebusan ahe terhadap frekuensi nafas penderita PPOK di RSUD M. Yunus Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatid dengan desain Quasy Experiment, melibatkan 30 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan kriteria eksklusi dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari dua kelompok intevensi tidak terdapat perbandingan yang signifikan antara pemberian air hangat dan air rebusan jahe terhadap frekuensi nafas. Hasil uji Mann Withney diperoleh nilai p-value 0,710 maka H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbandingan pemberian nebulizer dengan konsumsi air hangat dan air rebusan jahe terhadap frekuensi nafas penederita PPOK.
