Jarak kandang ternak dan sanitasi kandang tidak memenuhi syarat merupakan faktor yang berhubungan dengan keberadaan bakteri Coliform pada air sumur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan jarak kandang ternak dan sanitasi kandang dengan keberadaan bakteri coliform air sumur di desa Solok kelurahan Babatan Kecamatan Sukaraja Kabupaten Seluma. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survei analitik. Jumlah populasi penelitian sebanyak 30 KK. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 9 sampel air sumur. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 9 sampel air sumur gali yang diperiksa, 4 sampel (44,4%) air sumur gali tercemar bakteri coliform, 4 sampel (44,4%) jarak kandang tidak memenuhi syarat, dan 5 sampel (55,6%) sanitasi kandang tidak memenuhi syarat. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan signifikan antara jarak kandang dengan keberadaan bakteri coliform pada air sumur (P value = 0,008) dan ada hubungan signifikan antara sanitasi kandang dengan keberadaan bakteri coliform pada air sumur (P value = 0,048). Disarankan kepada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Seluma untuk dapat melakukan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat terkait pentingnya sanitasi kandang dan memperhatikan jarak kandang dengan air sumur gali minimal 10 meter. The distance of livestock cages and unqualified cage sanitation are factors associated with the presence of Coliform bacteria in well water. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between livestock cage distance and cage sanitation with the presence of coliform bacteria in well water in Solok village, Babatan sub-district, Sukaraja district, Seluma regency. This type of research is quantitative research with an analytic survey research design. The study population was 30 households. The research sample was 9 well water samples. Data analysis techniques using Chi-Square. The results showed that of the 9 samples of dug well water examined, 4 samples (44.4%) of dug well water were contaminated with coliform bacteria, 4 samples (44.4%) of cage distance did not meet the requirements, and 5 samples (55.6%) of cage sanitation did not meet the requirements. The test results showed that there was a significant relationship between cage distance and the presence of coliform bacteria in well water (P value = 0.008) and there was a significant relationship between cage sanitation and the presence of coliform bacteria in well water (P value = 0.048). It is suggested that the Seluma District Health Office should be able to conduct counseling to the community regarding the importance of cage sanitation and pay attention to the distance between cages and dug well water at least 10 meters.
