Abstract
This study aimed to describe the process of empowering adolescent girls at the Batik Gala Indo Mandiri Studio in Riak Siabun 1 Village, Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province. This research used qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research used purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using observation, interview, documentation. The data were analyzed by using B.F Skinner's Behavioral Theory through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that there are 4 stages of the process of empowering adolescent girls at the Batik Gala Indo Mandiri Studio namely; the first stage of identifying the problems and potential of adolescent girls, the second stage of empowerment program planning, the third stage of implementing adolescent girls' empowerment, the fourth stage of evaluating adolescent girls' empowerment. The 4 stages of the empowerment process were analyzed by using Behavioural Theory of B. F Skinner about changes in a person's behaviour which is the result of a stimulus (stimulus) that causes a behavioural relationship (response), so that the stimulus and response were found from the 4 stages of the process of empowering adolescent girls at the Batik Gala Indo Mandiri Studio, namely the Batik Gala Indo Mandiri Studio convinces adolescent girls, provides the widest possible space for adolescent girls, then provides solutions or input to adolescent girls and the response found was that adolescent girls were interested in carrying out empowerment activities, adolescent girls were more receptive to input and with the stimulus that the cooperative provides to adolescent girls, adolescent girls were more competent in Batik. So that the behaviour or response was maintained by the adolescent girls because there was a reward n the form of skills and income.
