Abstract
ABSTRAK RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD) DALAM PEMBUATAN APLIKASI FLUTTER UNTUK MONITORING PENJUALAN Nama : Bintang Andika Adirizki NPM : 2155201031 Pembimbing : Ujang Juhardi, S.Kom., M.Kom. Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong transformasi digital di berbagai sektor, termasuk pada usaha perdagangan skala kecil. Toko kelontong pada umumnya masih mengandalkan pencatatan manual dalam pengelolaan stok dan transaksi penjualan, sehingga rentan terhadap kesalahan data, keterlambatan dalam rekapitulasi laporan, serta sulitnya melakukan pemantauan kondisi bisnis secara real-time. Keterbatasan sistem manual tersebut menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan akan solusi digital yang dapat membantu proses monitoring penjualan secara terintegrasi dalam satu platform. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi mobile monitoring penjualan dan manajemen stok barang berbasis Flutter dan Firebase Firestore, serta mengetahui hasil pengujian terhadap aplikasi yang dikembangkan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD), yang dipilih karena memungkinkan siklus pengembangan yang lebih cepat melalui pendekatan iteratif dengan keterlibatan aktif pengguna pada setiap fasenya. Pengembangan dilakukan melalui empat tahapan utama RAD, yaitu Requirements Planning, User Design, Construction, dan Cutover. Framework Flutter digunakan sebagai antarmuka aplikasi berbasis Android, sedangkan Firebase Firestore berfungsi sebagai backend basis data berbasis cloud yang mendukung sinkronisasi data secara real-time.Aplikasi yang dihasilkan mencakup fitur-fitur utama meliputi autentikasi pengguna, dashboard monitoring real-time, manajemen stok barang, input barang masuk, pencatatan transaksi penjualan, serta fitur generate laporan dalam format PDF. Pengujian dilakukan dengan dua metode, yaitu Black Box Testing pada 12 skenario yang seluruhnya berstatus Berhasil, serta User Acceptance Testing (UAT) yang melibatkan 23 responden dengan hasil skor 832 dari skor maksimal 920 atau setara dengan 90,43% yang masuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi telah berfungsi dengan baik secara fungsional, berhasil menggantikan sistem pencatatan manual yang kurang efisien, dan diterima dengan sangat baik oleh pengguna sebagai solusi digital untuk mendukung operasional serta pengambilan keputusan bisnis pada toko kelontong. The advancement of information technology is driving digital transformation across various sectors, including small-scale retail businesses. Grocery stores generally still rely on manual recording systems to manage stock and sales transactions, making them prone to data errors, delays in report compilation, and difficulties in monitoring business conditions in real-time. The limitations of manual systems highlight the need for a digital solution capable of supporting the sales monitoring process and stock management in an integrated platform. This study aims to design and develop a mobile application for sales monitoring and stock management based on Flutter and Firebase Firestore, as well as to evaluate the results of testing the developed application. The method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which was selected for its ability to enable faster development cycles through an iterative approach with active user involvement at each phase. Development was carried out through four main RAD phases: Requirements Planning, User Design, Construction, and Cutover. Flutter was used as the Android-based application interface, while Firebase Firestore served as the cloud-based backend database supporting real-time data synchronization. The resulting application includes key features such as user authentication, a real-time monitoring dashboard, stock management, incoming goods input, sales transaction recording, and PDF report generation. Testing was conducted using two methods: Black Box Testing across 12 test scenarios, all of which yielded a Successful status, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 23 respondents, which produced a score of 832 out of a maximum of 920, equivalent to 90.43%, categorized as Very Good. The results indicate that the application has performed well functionally, successfully replacing the previously inefficient manual recording system, and has been very well received by users as a digital solution to support operational activities and business decision-making in grocery stores.
