Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the effect of adding fermented cassava leaf flour (Manihot esculenta Crantz) to broiler rations on final body weight, carcass weight, and carcass percentage. The study was conducted from March to July 2025 in Talang Tengah 1 Village, Pondok Kubang District, Central Bengkulu Regency, with sample analysis carried out at the Animal Husbandry Laboratory, University of Bengkulu. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) used consisted of 5 treatments and 4 replications. Each experimental unit consisted of 5 broiler chickens, so the total was 100 chickens. The treatment included fermented cassava leaf flour with a content of 3%-12%, containing 26.24% crude protein and 2781 kcal/kg metametabolic energy. The results showed a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on final body weight (1449.00-1357.10 g) and carcass weight (1075-50- 958.00 g), but no significant effect on carcass percentage (74.23%-69.76%). These findings indicate that fermented cassava leaf flour provides comparable nutritional quality and palatability to conventional feed. However, inclusion levels above 12% are not recommended, as they do not result in further improvement
